Rues of Roo

Chinese music has its ups and downs, especially when it comes to R ‘n’ B, but if there’s always one thing that you can give credit to it’s how freaking depressing they can make their songs. Being who I am (i.e. unable comprendre Chinois), I find the tunes depressing enough, but once translated, now, that’s another story altogether. As I understand, this song ‘Feng æž«’ is about Jay’s girlfriend who loses her memory and falls in love with his best friend.

Like… even without elaborating on this, does anyone want to kill themselves yet?

As I also understand, the best friend in this song is a singer who also writes his sequel to the song in which the girlfriend remembers and then falls back in love with Jay, which is…well, kind of sucky. Anyone else want to die?

Anyway, below are the Chinese lyrics with pinyin. If anyone’s wondering where the hell this came from it’s probably something to do with 4am Kbox but that’s just my own speculation. Next time I’m printing out the pinyin!!!
