In a state of semi-permanence

25 weeks and 3 days.
Nearly 6 months to the day.

Yet I can only feel gratitude that the above has been my bane for only a mere two of those. For those uninitiated the above is an ‘Avaya’ phone (the Callmaster V to be exact) a rather smart piece of equipment that enables you to receive calls with convenience and precision (precision?).

Regardless, I shall be glad to be rid of it in no less than one day and skip my way two floors down to deal with multimillion dollar accounts and pretend I am significant and important because of it. But inevitably I foresee myself doing rather menial work for a while longer… but at least, at least I’ll have a permanent desk with my name on it. I’ve been rather homeless for the past 25 weeks and 3 days.

In other news. Moving!

It’s the most unproductive flat I’ve ever lived in because there are too many cable channels. I went over last night to clean up and ended up just watching ESPN and Anime. AHhh.

This is what I mean by being in transition while being in transition. And I have to say, it doesn’t suck at all (probably because I actually do have a job and have a place to live). I feel myself gaining a status of semi-permanence. Noo…
