Rues of Roo

For some reason I just couldn’t really get any nice shots in Penang, other than your standard sunset and whatnot. Anyway, I guess one of the few that I liked was this one, a trishaw sitting outside some shop houses. But what I found most interesting were the words facing the would-be cyclist, those words etched in his mind as he worked all day under the hot Malaysian sun. Those words coupled with those fake sunflowers tucked at the side gave a strange paradoxical sight, but to what end. It all seemed rather depressing. Spruce up your trishaw with fake sunflowers.
